Memorial for Louise Newman

Louise Newman August 13, 1952 - March 18, 2008, beloved wife, mother, daughter and friend, died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her husband Fred, her children Leo and Kaeridwyn, her mother Philomene, her brothers Christopher and Glenn and the many friends that she touched with her warmth, caring and humour. After many years of home schooling her children Louise returned to complete her Bachelor's Degree at Simon Fraser University. She was working towards her Masters Degree in Counselling at the Adler School of Professional Psychology when she was diagnosed with cancer. Her goal was to work with people and help them heal. Her laugh after a particularly groanful pun or the glint in her eye after successfully pulling off an April Fool's prank with be sorely missed.

About two hundred and fifty people attended the memorial, testifying to the large number of people that she had touched with her love, care and vitality. The order of service was:
