Sesshin at new Zen Centre

November 2008

The November sesshin maxed out the centres capacity of fifteen participants. A third came from northern BC; and Branko's sister attended while visiting from Bosnia. A center row was formed when locals came for the regular zazen meetings; which the sesshin schedule allows. The three newcomers sat as well as the old-timers. Sesshins in the city mean making small allowances for people living nearby and for the residents on the ground floor. There was no sesshin photographer so the few pictures below make up the graphic memory.

Washing, ironing and folding the large amount of bedding, bowl cloths and rags after sesshin.
