| Eshin is a senior teacher of Joshu Roshi. Eshin trained at Mt Baldy Zen Center and Rinzai-ji for four years before taking responsibility of the Zen Centre of Vancouver. Eshin has built up the centre's practice and the new facilities now allow residential Zen students. |

| The ground floor of the new centre is a residency for Zen students. It is brand new with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living area. |

| The centre also has a guest room available on the upper, or Zen Centre, floor. It is available for a small fee for sangha members. It's likely use is for out of town members who are visiting Vancouver, or want study with Eshin for short periods, or wish to extend their stay when attending sesshins or one day sits. |
